These images are from my book, Confluence: Merrymeeting Bay, authored by Franklin Burroughs and published by Tilbury House. Merrymeeting Bay is an inland river delta in Midcoast Maine. It is home to hundreds of bird and fish species, and is one of only four places on the planet where two major rivers share a delta.
