Painting - A pandemic Pivot.
An extended study on existing photographs.
During the pandemic while my camera has been dry, I found a new creative connection to my work through painting large canvases of my existing photographs. This meditative, extended focus on a fraction of a second offers me a new perspective on the elements of water and light, and what it means to make a still image of bodies in motion.
